What you'll accomplish

By the end of this guide, you'll have Jasper configured with your brand voice and producing email copy that sounds like your brand — not generic AI marketing-speak. What you'll need

  • Jasper account ($49+/month — Pro plan for Brand Voice features)
  • Your brand voice documentation: tone guidelines, key phrases, words to avoid, examples of on-brand copy
  • Examples of your best-performing past email campaigns (for teaching Jasper your voice)
  • Time needed: 45-60 min initial setup; 10-15 min per campaign after
  • Cost: $49+/month (Jasper Pro)

How-To Guide: Use Jasper to Build Brand-Consistent Email Campaigns at Scale

Step 1: Set Up Jasper Brand Voice

Brand Voice is what makes Jasper different from a generic ChatGPT prompt — it learns your specific voice rather than using a generic tone.

  1. Log into jasper.ai → click Brand Voice in the left sidebar (under Campaigns)
  2. Click + Add Brand Voice
  3. Name it: "[Brand Name] Email Voice"
  4. In the Style input section, paste 3-5 examples of your best on-brand email copy (at least 1,000 words total)
    • Pick examples that represent your ideal voice — promotional emails, nurture emails, customer-facing communications
  5. Add your brand details:
    • Brand name: [your brand]
    • Products/services: [brief description]
    • Target audience: [describe]
    • Tone: Select from dropdowns + add custom notes
  6. Add specific guidelines in the Custom instructions field:
    Copy and paste this
    - Never start an email with "We" — always start with the reader's perspective
    - Use contractions ("you'll" not "you will")
    - Never use the phrase "amazing" or "incredible"
    - Subject lines: under 50 characters, never include the word "just"
    - CTAs: specific action + benefit ("Shop the Sale" not "Click Here")

  7. Click Analyze — Jasper analyzes your examples and builds a voice profile
  8. Review the generated voice summary — edit anything that doesn't match

What you should see: A voice summary like "Conversational and direct. Avoids corporate language. Speaks to readers as peers, not prospects. Short sentences. Strong CTAs with specific benefits."
