For Email Marketing Specialists ·
What you'll accomplish
By the end of this guide, you'll have Jasper configured with your brand voice and producing email copy that sounds like your brand — not generic AI marketing-speak. You'll generate full campaigns (subject lines, body, CTAs) in 10-15 minutes, with consistent voice across every campaign regardless of which team member is using it.
What you'll need
Brand Voice is what makes Jasper different from a generic ChatGPT prompt — it learns your specific voice rather than using a generic tone.
- Never start an email with "We" — always start with the reader's perspective
- Use contractions ("you'll" not "you will")
- Never use the phrase "amazing" or "incredible"
- Subject lines: under 50 characters, never include the word "just"
- CTAs: specific action + benefit ("Shop the Sale" not "Click Here")
What you should see: A voice summary like "Conversational and direct. Avoids corporate language. Speaks to readers as peers, not prospects. Short sentences. Strong CTAs with specific benefits."
What you should see: Email copy that sounds recognizably like your brand. If the first generation doesn't nail it, click Rephrase or add more specific instructions in the prompt field.
For a full campaign sequence (welcome series, abandoned cart, etc.):
Click Campaigns in the left sidebar → + New Campaign
Name the campaign and add your brief (same info as Step 2 plus timing/sequence notes)
For each email in the sequence:

For A/B testing at scale (when you want 10-15 subject line variants to test over multiple campaigns):
Generate 12 subject line options for our [campaign type].
Topic: [describe]
Create 3 lines for each of these angles: urgency, curiosity, benefit-first, personalization.
Each line should be under 50 characters.
